Sedrak Sedrakyan

Sedrak Sedrakyan, Ph.D is the founde and President of "Urarty" University of Practical Psychology and Sociology. He is also a member of International Academy of Psychological Sciences, and one of the main founders of "practical Psychology" in Armenia, and the Chairman of the "Association of Practical Psychologists of Armenia". His main areas of scientific expertise are social, political, managerial and family psychology. He is also the author of more than 200 scientific and educational publications, articles, ad textbooks that have been translated in numerous languages such as Russian, Persian & English.

Varuzhan Melkonyan

Founder-Chairman of the “Ayg” Center for Psychological Services. Studied at the A. Shahinyan school with a major in physics and mathematics, Graduated from YSU Faculty of Applied Mathematics. He supervised the introduction of social and psychological services in the penitentiary system of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia. In 2005, having formed a professional team of highly qualified, leading specialists in the field of psychological work, he founded the “Ayg” psychological services center with the aim of making psychological support available to different sectors of society, contributing to the strengthening and improvement of people's mental health, popularizing the profession of psychologist and developing practical psychology in Armenia.

Psychologist (consultant, researcher, trainer). PhD, Associate Professor at Yerevan State University, Faculty of Philosophy & Psychology. Received a scientific degree in the fields of Social Psychology, Crisis and Emergency Psychology. Co-founder & Chairman of NGO “Suggest Psychological Studio”. Author of about 4 dozen scientific publications. Had taken part in local and international scientific conferences.

Aram Melkonyan

Psychologist, conducts the practice of psychological counseling in the direction of cognitive-behavioral therapy. Scientific interests: voluntary childlessness (childfree), methodology of science, cognitive bias, decision making psychology. Participated for several international and state scientific conferences, author and co-author of several scientific articles. For his professional activities he was awarded with state awards.

Berberyan Asya is Head of the Psychology Department, Doctor of Psychology, Professor, Head of the Psychology direction at the Russian-Armenian University. Asya Berberyan is a full member and head of the Armenian departments of International Academy of Psychological Sciences and All-Russian Professional Psychotherapeutic League. She is the organizer of annual international scientific and practical conferences and forums. She was awarded the following awards: "Best Teacher of the Year", "Honored Professor of the Russian", medal «For merit in Psychology» IAPS, the Gold Medal by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Armenia, the Gold Medal by Russian-Armenian University, "Honorary Worker of Education of the Russian Federation" and others. She has more than 300 scientific papers (h-index - 10), is the head of grant projects on the problems of humanization of higher education and ethno-cultural identity.
